Get an issue

Retrieves a specific issue or pull request from a repository. Use owner, repo, and issue_number to identify the resource, and select a media type when you need raw, text, or HTML representations of the Markdown body. Transferred issues may redirect, while deleted issues can return different responses depending on repository access.

Error handling

A 404 is returned when the issue is transferred to or deleted from a repository the authenticated user cannot read. A 410 is returned when the issue was deleted from a repository the authenticated user can read. issue_number must identify the issue or pull request within owner and repo.
